Abstract
This article discusses how to incorporate PitchBook in a live case study for Venture Capital, Investment Banking, or Mergers and Acquisitions courses. Students conduct a live case study in which they prepare an executive summary, forecasted financial statements, and an investment pitch deck for real companies preparing to raise private capital. PitchBook provides extensive capital market data on private equity, venture capital, and merger and acquisitions data across the globe. Students utilize PitchBook to gather data critical to prepare companies to go on a “Road Show” to raise private capital.
