Abstract
This paper explores students’ perceptions of internationalizing the Principles of Macroeconomics curriculum. The study presents survey results showing that most students find the inclusion of global perspectives enhances their learning and engagement. International students, in particular, value understanding international contexts for their future careers. Many students also found international examples interesting and helpful in developing global skills. The findings suggest a strong student preference for globally enriched content and highlight the importance of integrating international perspectives into economics education. The study emphasizes the need for institutions to adopt a more intentional approach to internationalizing curricula across disciplines and informs future teaching practices.
