Abstract
A comprehensive research essay detailing Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's writing style, connotation, and detail as pertains to the women of his plot construction throughout the Sherlock Holmes series. In using a number of Doyle's most famous tales, the author parallels the women of his stories and their intentional misrepresentation and incomplete creation.
