Aims & Scope
The aim of RURJ is to encourage undergraduate research at Rollins College by providing students with a forum to display their best work in a public forum
Student authors and staff members benefit from the experience of the publishing process. Students gain familiarity with each step from submission to review to publication. Published articles provide evidence of a student’s achievement for their future careers and endeavors. Student editors and peer reviewers learn the behind-the-scenes experience of the publishing process which will not only prepare them for their careers, but will also prepare them for possible future academic pursuits.
The faculty benefits from the expansion of undergraduate research on campus as well as the new opportunities that RURJ brings students.
RURJ proves that Rollins is a place where undergraduates are motivated and involved in research early. The electronic journal reaches a global audiences, increasing the world’s knowledge of Rollins College.
